Weather in Paris in July

Paris in July is quite possibly one of the busiest months of the year in terms of events and celebrations. First of all, the weather is great, with the average temperatures of around 18-20°C, so everyone spends their time outdoors. Paris is transformed into a resort, with a real Parisian seaside – this is when beaches with white sand, umbrellas and sunbeds are installed along the embankment of the Seine River. It’s not St Tropez, but quite popular!
One of the most popular annual sports events, Tour de France takes place in Paris in July, cyclists start their way from England and end it on the Champs Elysees in Paris. Moreover, locals leave their shoes aside and switch them to rollerblades at the Paris rollerdrom, and annually Parisians and visitors alike can enjoy movies and cartoon at the outdoor cinema at the De la Villette park. Apart from that there is also the Paris Tropical Carnival, and the Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week taking place.
Last, but not least, 14th of July is one of the most important holidays in France- the Bastille Day- this is when there is a huge parade taking place on the Champs Elysees, concerts and fireworks, shows and entertainment, praising the glory of this wonderful country.
